I will wait for the official release of IE9 before making changes to nsisSlideshow.

Of course, if you can't wait, you're free to modify nsisSlideshow sources and recompile (according to the license)

The problem is linked with Microsoft's IImgCtx object which gets broken with IE9.

However, it is not sure they will fix the problem.

Hello, Wizou! Thank you for this super plugin (i used it till now without problems), but now it still doesn't work with IE9. Official IE9 Release date was in March 2011. PLEASE, HELP! I need it in a week .

nsisSlideshow is already an improvment based on EBanner

Because it is not compatible with IE9.
It can support custom page display.

I don't understand.
As far as I know, nsisSlideshow has the same features as EBanner
(except for sound support which can be achieved with other ways)

You should be able to use nsisSlideshow with custom pages as well

thanks for great work on the slideshow program!

I am having a problem: I am running windows 7 64-bit professional, and on 3 out of 4 computers the slideshow does not work, but on one of them it does. I have uninstalled a bunch of programs and disabled IE extension and yet I cannot for the life of me find out why when the slide show starts there is only a black screen.

I have IE as my default browser, have default jpg viewer set to microsoft photo viewer, thought maybe that's the problem, but still just black screen.

Please let me know if you have any ideas or what information you think you'd need for this. It worked for a while on my machine and now it doesn't, so I think an update may have been the reason, but which one?

Never mind, I am sorry to waste your time. I was not using the right DLL file, it had to be the one ending with W if I use NSIS Unicode...so everything works, your plugin is awesome!
