If I am in the New York system, I'd like to trade, I want to see what run would make me the most profit, but it doesn't matter from which base.

1. Select your system from the Systems combo-box
2. Click twice on the Bases combo-box
3. Use the mouse wheel to easily switch between the various bases of the system.
4. Use your eyes to determine which base gives to the most profitable route

What about multiple systems? :P That is actually a good idea, I never thought of that.

Program to calculate multiple bases road was made already, but it does it only for original game. Check it out, maybe you will get some ideas. Thanks for Freelancer Companion by the way.

In link I sent, program calculates best roads with multiple stops from point A to point B. There maybe several stops where you can sell one commodity, buy another one and go to next stop and so on until you reach point B.

The new one is the "Multi-Stop" mode. It will create trade routes that may contain more than one stop and include more than one
commodity. These trade routes consist of a series of "normal" trade routes where the end of a trade route is the start for the
next one. The route will not deviate from the shortest way from the selected start to the selected destination. There will be a
maximum of one stop per system.
All stops are chosen in order to maximize the profit of the multi-stop-trade-route.
All filter settings will be applied when creating these trade routes.
To see the details (every single trade route) of a multi-stop-trade-route use the context menu ("Show Details").

Thank you Friend, but it does not answer thebigschnoz's question.
He wants to compare (and find the most lucrative) routes available starting from any base in a given system (or even more globally compare all available routes from all bases).

I always said I was against this feature, so we won't continue discussion on the matter.
