Long-time FLCompanion user, first-time visitor here, with a question. :)

In light of Chris Roberts (Freelancer creator) having a new game coming out, and not knowing if there was any chance of a successor Star Citizen Companion (Wizou, is this something that you might consider?), I was wondering if someone could give a walk-through of how FLCompanion reads and processes data.

Hello there

I'm no longer developing Freelancer Companion.
The project is available open-source here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/flcompanion/

If you understand C++, you can take a look at the source code and see how it processes data :)
I also explain a bit of the logic in this post: viewtopic.php?p=3805#p3805

Note that in Freelancer, data is stored in "bini" files, quite specific to Freelancer. I doubt the data will be stored the same way in a game nowadays. So the work to make a SC Companion would be totally different in my opinion.
